Robert T. Sullivan Jr., V.M.D., C.C.R.P
Traveling to South Montrose since childhood to visit his grandparents, Lee and Doris Sebring, instilled a love of Susquehanna County. After graduating from the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Veterinary Medicine in 1996, Dr. Bob moved to and started working in Montrose. In 2005 he started Southtown Veterinary Hospital at its original location on route 29 and eight years later built the current facility.
Dr. Bob has a special interest in internal medicine, general and orthopedic surgery, as well as caring for exotics, pocket pets, birds and reptiles. In 2013 he became certified in Canine Rehabilitation by the University of Tennessee and is one of the only veterinarians in our area to do so. His favorite part of veterinary medicine…finding out what is wrong and fixing it…the more unusual the issue, the better.
Dr. Bob is married to Rebecca and they have two wonderful children, Alannah and Lee John. Over the years his pets have included ferrets, fish, horses, and rodents. Currently the Sullivans have a crazy Chesapeake Bay Retriever a pair of sweet coon hound mixes Bettie and Charley and two sets of ginger boy kitties.
When not in the office, Dr. Bob spends his time researching and reading up on new things to do when he is back at the hospital…lol And when we can rip him away you can find him tending to his flock of chickens, his beehives or his garden.
